  • Setting research questions

    Why?

The aim is to get students to reflect on what they knew, what they have learned and more importantly what they would need to learn. This is very challenging.

How?

Setting research questions starts from the “Activating existing knowledge” - stage, because the aim is to construct deepening knowledge based on earlier conceptions. The students can then start to form their research questions on the Flinga-wall. The research questions on the wall is the starting point for the learning process: deepening questions, solutions and notes can then be linked to the main research question.

Pro Tips!

The Flinga-session can be divided in separate smaller session by using the title-features of Flinga. With this administrational intervention each group revises it’s own wall in the shared session

It is not easy to set up a proper research question for teamwork at this point, it is wise to instruct the students to progressively refine the research questions during the course.
